10 Feb SCS opens new plant in China

We will commission our new plant in Zhejiang, China, in March 2020.
Along with our subsidiary in Yancheng, the current opening will increase the number of our Chinese production sites to two.
The new plant covers an area of approx. 110,000 square feet. Here, our Chinese employees will produce large-volume Bowden cable series for a variety of automotive applications. In future, however, Stahlschmidt Zhejiang Automotive Co. LTD will also manufacture high-quality industry products.
We will deliver our products manufactured in Zhejiang to our North-American and European customers. A core focus is also on delivering our high-quality automotive and, increasingly, industry products to domestic Chinese direct customers.
